Have you ever wondered...that today could be YOUR day?

You might ask...'well, what do you mean, what am I waiting for?' And my answer is....

...Anything. Anything that fills up your day and makes life that much more enjoyable.

Sometimes I think we don't make the most of each day...letting days pass by...

...thinking, 'I wish I would have filled my day up a little more...'

I am going to be that little birdie on your shoulder who says...'Go, Go, Go for it!!!'

It might sound silly, but honestly, whatever it may be...go for it, make each day count, and have no regrets of wishing what you would have or would not have done.

It could be as simple as getting up the nerves to talk to a co-worker, or trying that different cafe' for lunch instead of the same ole same ole...or something as fresh as a new hair cut, why not? Change creates change...and change, is good. It might take some time to realize it at times...but it is!

Today, I can proudly say I filled up my day with wonderful girlfriends, a few doggie walks, met a new neighbor, a very productive work day, and of course a treat...a lowfat strawberry smoothie from Panera type of treat...and yes, I made it a large!

Today also was historic, stop the presses, ring the bells....my adorable, beautiful, kind, and thoughtful friend...(you know who you are) found her WEDDING DRESS!

My jaw dropped...I hadn't seen a more radiant, flawless Bride just TRYING on her Wedding dress! Honestly, who looks like she could walk down the aisle just the day of picking her dress out? Ummm my friend, boo ya! I have amazing friends.

I am so giddy to think that this time next year I will be able to showcase her dress, her venue, her shoes, her flowers....HER DAY! :) Obviously, I cannot wait!

Now onto the quick blog and food for thought....being different, like I usually stress, but I found some awesome floral catches, and I think you will love them too!

First up is a kick butt giant flower for ones dress, just think how amazing this could look on a simple, no sparkle, no bling dress....plus you can take it on and off as much as you like throughout your Big Day...and even better, your can wear it again, cha ching!

Next up is another to die for hair piece! I am in love with these to accent your Wedding Day hair...up, down, tossled, pin straight, add a little spice...I mean it is the one and only day when showing case your true, blue taste needs to be showing, so please Brides, do not ever be bashful about being YOU!

Sometimes I feel like life is flying by...do you ever feel that way?

It's almost like I blinked and ta da, I went from playing with barbies in my sand box to being a college grad, new wife, and home owner...when did this happen?!

Life moves so fast, and sometimes I feel as though people do not nearly enough get the chance to do what makes their heart happy.

Sometimes we are born into the mentality of what we 'think' we are 'expected' to do...

But who says we have to do everything traditional, mundane, and monotonous?

Not me, and not some of my dear friends. I am happy to say that within the past few months I have been blessed to know some awesome gals that are being brave enough to step out of their comfort zone and pursue a passion. What amazing courage and strength to say...'you know what life? you are too short, too sweet, and too fantastic to not be what I want you to be'...that is exactly how I am feeling these days...

...It took me awhile but I want to be that old lady in a rocking chair...and when looking back on my life remember the things I aspired to be and do, and not regret following a dream...after all...'what would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?' Thank you Vincent Van Gogh!

So here is the newest bold, beautiful business that has taken on this little world, and I think you will love it as much as I do!

Whoa! Stop right there, do you even recognize me?

Yes...don't fret, it's still the same old me, just with some new 'pizazz'...or color pops shall I say...I needed something new, fresh, and bold.

Do you like it, love it, hate it? It almost feels like getting a new haircut!

Nonetheless...I think this was a good shift change...being that I am a perfectionist, I will hunt, create, find, inspire, and design until my little heart is content...so I hope you like!

That took care of the 'update' portion of the blog...but don't worry, I saved the best for last...just for you! And me :)

Show of hands (or, eh...comments!! Ahem, please people, I can tell you read this, so just let me know what is on your mind! Or, maybe your style is a smaller Wedding cake...to cut, eat, keep...and cupcakes for the guests! Yes, no, maybe?! Who doesn't love a cupcake. They are already individualized...beyond cute, and if you pick them right (ask me WHO) they will send your taste buds into a party frenzy!

Gray is my go to color...always has been, probably always will be.

Hoodies, scarves, jackets, ruffle shirts, leggings, boots, tanks, and tops....gray gray gray is in my closet! I love wearing gray because you can then add 'pops' of color to any outfit, making it clean, simple, yet classy and stand out.

Gray is miraculously making it's way onto the Bridal season...hooray hooray, I hear gray coming!! And let's just hope it stays!

Just like my wardrobe, when you use gray as a base color in your color scheme for your Wedding, you can then play with so many great 'pops' of color...and have your guests astonished by your sense of style, simplicity, but playfulness!

Take a peek at these gray bridesmaids dresses I found...I love them so much, will someone get engaged, ask me to be their maid and make me wear one?!

Yes? You? Okay, thanks :)

Let me know what YOU think of the new and improved gray!

I was searching high and low for more ideas to remember the near and dear ones that help each and every couple celebrate the most memorable day of their lives...

....and I found one!

This Wedding had an enchanting idea of using a chalk board, a polaroid camera, and a back drop of any sort...oh, and your guests!

While each guest or couple arrives, they take a gigglin', smiley, happy, full of love, bustin' at the seams to dance, celebratory picture with the 'said sign', in this case chalk board...in front of the 'said back drop', in this case a cute vintage quilt...and ta da!

The picture develops, it is taped inside the guest book and the guests get to write their names or a little note of happiness...to the happy couple :)

Simple, unique, inexpensive, and very creative for your amazing day!

How cute is this?!

Being creative with your own Wedding is 'key' to making your special day unique and different from others. What Bride wants her Wedding to be cliche' and just like everyone else's?! Not me...and I guarantee not you!

Take a peek at this insanely brilliant idea for your guests finding their seats!!

Something that has been new in the Wedding world, but taking off like mad is...

....After Parties! How neat, a romantic afternoon/evening Wedding...dancing away, chatting up your guests...not overwhelming yourself...saying thank you and buh bye...

....then, let's take the party down the street!

Be it a reserved room at your fav restaurant, a hotel hospitality room, or any place that reminds the happy couple of...them :)

I found this to die for dress, kind of like an outfit change...for the Bride to slip into for her after party! Heck, she doesn't even need an after party to make this killer switch, I would slip into it after I cut my cake :)

Let me know what you think of this outfit change, or after party trend that is slowly make it's way into the Wedding scene! I say, a change could do you good ;)
