I had to create a sign for an outdoor Wedding this weekend...and here are a few I found for inspiration :)

These are great ways to add a unique twist on your special day...and might I say, very inviting and a warm welcome for your guests :)

Enjoy!

Summer Send Off...

Goodbye, Warm Breezes...Hello, Cool, Crisp Fall...

This IB I created was to bring to life a magical, simple, outdoor ceremony...

On the coast, on a lake, on a river bank, or by the beach...magic.

Simple, clean outdoor decor provides delightful sights for the guests to be welcomed with...faint yellow orchids and fluffy white peonies...all the while candles glisten in the slowly fading sunset...

...Guests can help themselves to fuzzy local peaches, sweet sweet love!

And look at this outdoor oasis...a breathtaking sight to see as your near and dear friends say 'I Do'...

The outdoor reception, open air, and full of love, keeps the setting low key, yet intimate...

...And those shoes?! Those shoes are just as breathtaking as the view :)

Hope you enjoy this magical escape...let me know what you think!

Late August...

The first hints of Fall are upon us...this is a fresh, crisp Wedding scheme that I fell in love with!

Autumn apples...hints of green...cupcakes as far as the eyes can see :)

I also love the unique green of the bridesmaid dresses, and the chocolate brown suits the men are sporting. Don't overlook the amazing ivory dress the bride is wearing!

The new spin on a guest book, a guest tree is what I came up with for the guests to sign, and the couple to save! Also, a wishing jar, for the newlyweds to receive ample advice from their dear friends and family :)

Cheers!

This IB takes on a color scheme that just makes my toes wiggle! Gray and Yellow? Yes, Gray and Yellow! How enchanting, how inviting, how unique, how...it rolls with many seasons!

One of my Bride's I am working with has been discussing dress options other than strapless, that is how the Wedding dress inspiration came to my eyes. The yellow bridesmaid dress color just popped. It is simple and clean, yet a bold, fun color! I also LOVE the flower hair piece :)

Next are the cake and flowers...clean, simple, yet whimsical colors. I love the bright yellow flower being a common theme between the two...much like streamlining to keep a like element in each area.

The invites and goodie bags also go with the simple, clean, and also yellow color scheme. Less is more in my book? And those shoes...jaw dropping! I say splurge on those shoes, make them wearable more than once, and have fun, play them up, or play them down, whichever fits your personality :) I didn't have blue shoes under my Wedding dress for nothing!

Finally...we all need something blue, don't we? Well, brides anyways...I found this to die for hand-stitched clutch with blue accents. Amazing, simple...and girlfriend, you better use it again! Let me all know what you think of this first IB of mine :) Cheers!

I created this inspiration board with my own favorites added in!

I always want to keep lines clean... colors simple, yet playful...and always, ALWAYS use patterns and textures to bring out an element.

Let me know what you all think of this first inspiration board!

I went very different with the bridesmaid dresses...but I think it could really work...

...for the right Wedding and Bride :)

I will be keeping my weekend blogs short...but deliciously sweet!

After all...don't we all have better things to do on a weekend than devote to our media devices? I hope so :)

Here are some pictures of late Summer to early Fall ideas that caught my eye...

...crisp colors, enchanting details, and darling ideas :)

Enjoy & Happy Labor Day Weekend!

...did you see that brilliant Ohio State ring bearer pillow? Yea...I loved that one too :)

If you are not familiar with where I am from in the Midwest...

...it is a lovely City, in the heart of Ohio, called Columbus.

And you might ask, what is Columbus known for...and I can answer it so simply...

...Ohio State Football. Da Da.

We are a proud, loud college town...and when September rolls around every year, it is almost like the winds change, the leaves begin to crisp, the air is fresher, and yes...wherever you go you see O S U!

I thought I would dedicate this blog to the Buckeyes home opener this year, which happens to be tonight...yes, on a Thursday. A lame Thursday, who knows why, pretty lame to me...but nonetheless, football season is here!

So whether you are a true, b*ue (I refuse to spell that word once the football season begins...and I think you all know why) OSU fan, or you were simply born and raised in this great Buckeye State...here are two photos that got me excited.

Some people obviously always keep the scarlet and gray pumping through their veins, yes...even on their Wedding Day! :)

O H...Go Bucks!

Think different...

Think keepsake...

Think, wow'ing the guests...

Think of it as a treasure you can always keep and remember :)

A guest TREE! Not a guest book...boring! A guest tree! Where you invest in (or create) a sketch of a tree, with many branches on a beautiful piece of card stock, or whatever you prefer. Then, as the guests arrive, one by one, you have multiple ink colors ready for them to put a finger print in and place on any tree branch. They then write their names, or family name...ta da!

Now tell me this isn't brilliant, new, fresh, modern, and something that will melt not only your heart, but your guests as well :)
